Interesting day at LG. SW wind gradually increasing during the arfternoon from 15-20 to 20-25 knots. My best 2 sec was at the end but I was too tired to continue. 

Great blast with some PiT crew team mates for a nice change. Spotty was smashing it, Kato was running like a machine. Martin was researching fin design. Mathew was out in the surf (what the..... ???)

Launched from the Spit and found some great bearaways between the islands, but also some big flat areas in the bay. Went up to Packers and did a couple of my best runs in the glass and back down the lake for a Nauti. Came in for a drink and back out again for my best run, but by then I was a bit stuffed so gace it away. 

Fantstic effort by Maree. When she came in, there was no doubt that she gave it her all. Nothing left in the tank!  Hope you recover by tomorrow Maree.

A quick little play in the arvo as the wind was a bit slow in turning up. Happy with the distance in the 3.5 hrs

Well, that didn't go to plan.  Only weed fin I had was my first proto and it didn't work as expected. The weed is different to last time I was here and the fin did not have enough curvature near the tip.  I was dredging the whole time and could feel it dragging.  Jamie very kindly lent me one of his spare fins but it was too small for my board, couldn.t get upwind to do speed runs and wouldn't fly the board off the tail. when I did bear off it let go scarily, so I called it a day.

Even though frustrating it was a great learning session and I now know exactly what to do.  The next weed fin will be a weapon!!!!

Great to meet lots of people and see everybody having heaps of fun.
