Kraken Bogan (2234km): Boggy Lake, SA, AU Marginal wind, 10-15 knots,All the biggest gear, 139 Isonic, 8.6 R8, 40cm weed fin, Some good tips from Chris on light wind rigging for the race sails. | ||||||||||||||||||
Captain skip bogan (50090km): Boggy Lake, SA, AU 10 to 15 (max gust if that - very light) - forecast was for seabreeze 15 to 20 but didn't happen. Another arvo sesh after work. I am not working Saturday morning's for 5 weeks so hope George does it's thing and blows 30 plus . 1st time on 7.7 with big board as a light weight - down to 76 k's and it is awesome to plane in light wind . Need to fine tune my sailing now as i don't have my weight jacket / keg on the front anymore . Long cruisey runs in light wind with Leon and Chris D at the start and ended the sesh with Rob - cheers for the chat - shame we didn't have beer - next time... It doesn't get much lighter so looks like i am set for light wind days now . Patrik 115 / 2020 ka race 7.7 / Black Project R40cm.

Retired Bogan (6747km): Boggy hoping for an early sea breeze as had to leave by 5.00. Only came in 10-15 around 4.00, hopefully kicked in after I left as there was a good number of guys down, so only got half an hour or so of underpowered sailing on 90L Maui Projects free/wave and 6.5 Ezzy Cheetah |
