SS Dialer 130 SS 76 wing NP Fusion 5.0

Solo run and had a blast once again in the rougher than expected for my abilities water and gusty wind from the SE.

I walked down from home with all kit in one go. Foil & board on my hear and carrying sail boom mast etc as hand luggage. Thank the lord for helmets!! On the beach the sail was rigged and attached. Sock off the wing and away I fly. I decided to head up wind as the rough water runs were on the way out and Id be able to go hard down wind in the calmer waves. I wanted to make it up tho the yacht club as there was a party going on and they were loud. School kids! So i did a few adjustments and left them for the jetty train that was putting on the jetty rails. This foiling thing is pretty cool, i went about 2km up wind and it was no prob and then came back on the swell in 2 tacks. About 1.2km off the beach. I was using the harness & foot straps alot today and the mast base just fwd of centre, boom a little higher to compensate with fwd base. Next tweak will be rear straps fwd 1 hole. Im digging this style of sailing but did miss the mermaiden in the water like last time i sailed from here. Bring on summer again!
