SS Dialer130 SS 76 wing NP Fusion 5.0

Well that was a long day at the office. Bottle Grey suits out in abundance too, no mermaidens to be seen. Started with the view that I might get to slap later but flying was soooo much easier that a slap bash sesh!

Cant believe some unannounced Pesky was out there using the wind too (plenty to go arround tho). Met jason in the middle of the yacht racing. We just flopped in the water and caught up. He's just moved down to Busso so now i have to go get ANOTHER key cut!!! We moved on once the boat bouy was within touching distance. Neither of us wanted to be run over by a planing tornado? They were flying with their kites up, exciting stuff. Shoutout out to Peskys & Mobbers, from now on theres a $10 key fee. Pay me a lobster or pineapple bill to secure your very own one.

Jason was slapping and doing some great needle threading off the wind through the lumpy goodness. I missed it all, LOL.

A great sesh for me with only a few offs out on the water and saw one close in (by some random wally). Sorry cant download the footage but totally halarious. Flights on the 5.0 were long and controlled and hairy, all at the same time. Breaches were fewer than before so i must be getting a little better, i hope. i Went upwind hard towards the jetty and all the boats racing about, then doing some super (un)impressive gybes at the jetty for the train & walkers and maybe someone with a squid jig. On the runs back towards the yacht club i tried some weaving in the swell wave chop stuff but im sure that it will be so much easier in actual swell on one of those tiny SS boards, but fun non the less. I did a couple of deep runs back to the launch spot but its still doing my head in going that deep off the wind, semi in controll with the sail sheeted almost all out and flying about 3/4 mast. More Bottle Suits in a splashing frenzy.

I headed home cos i was a wee bit pooped and steve was watching the random perfect his dismount, wish i could have seen that from the beach, classic!! He decided to come out for a slap so i headed back to the yacht club & jetty for some more crazy angles & jigs. Saw Jason who was packing up and also interested in the foil set up. Steve was on the water so back i headed again but this was my last run. Steve had pushed hard up wind to just get to the west drain and i sailed at 90 degrees to his track going home. The beautiful thing about FlyNoDie, angles!

On the beach and back to pack up and have a much earned brew!yomyom! Hell im sore!

laughed at Dave crashing into the shore on his foil! then felt slightly inspired. (sounds a little evil huh!.... was pretty funny though.

Went out on the slapper, soon realised the chop was going to be a pain in the backside, so decided beer oclock sounded much better.
