Lake George Trip Day 2

I missed dinner last night so went to Bompas for Bacon & Eggs and the whole crew ended up being there. Caught up with Glynn & Jamie again and met Firie Bob.

I was going to head back to Adelaide after yeasterdays long session(yet to post) but didn't feel to bad except for the blistered feet. I thought I would pop over to 5 mile for one last look and met Jetlag and Eckers who were rigging up.  Eckers was instantly away and that got me thinking it would be worth hanging around as I had already taken the day off work.

I wrapped the feet in elestoplast and out I went nicely powered on the 6.9 on the X-fire 108 and Tribal delta 20.  This combo pointed really well for me and I headed up to the top of the lake for a recon.  I had a few runs off the wind and decided to plug in the Creeper 58 but didn't go and faster while wasting precious energy so back onto the 108 for a cruise and speed in the glass. I hit a negative rocker wall and couldn't push through it but I think the board will be good for 40+ once faired. All in all a really enjoyable session with 8 or so on the lake. Great to meet Jetlag and Eckers and sail again with Izaak, Waricle and Daffy!
