I was there on Sunday with the SE blowing 32 gusting 36! It was seriously windy and I’m sure there would of been usable areas however the dunes are blocking the SE so maybe not the ideal direction. Unfortunately I didn’t have my speed sailing gear with me but the ocean just outside the inlet was super fun anyhow.

Agree that the dunes are causing interference to the SE. There's a few areas with some flow and it would be interesting to see what happens over 20+ knots.

Jonski is right about the ocean just outside the inlet. Uninterrupted breeze and great little waves.

Driving to Albany now to mix it up a bit

Albany's looking good at the moment, 17-20 @ the airport and forecast to hit 24 at 1600. Nothing much Saturday, but Sunday and Monday looking good as well.
