Green Island, QLD, AU

Funday Sunday At Green, Sailed with Cam and Toody, nice clear day with 15 to 18ish most of the day.

Island is almost closed, they are only really running the boat to service the jetty repairs and resort upgrade.

We are very lucky to still get access to the island.

Used Isonic 72W Overdrive M3 7.0 and Drake DW 36Cool

Green Island, QLD, AU  Nice day on the island in mostly 15-20 knots SE-ESE .Tide was full so pretty rough water .

Used the Evo 11 7m2 (too small) RRD X fire V 10 108 (nice ..!!) & Tribal SW 33 ...

We're lucky -the Great Adventures Ferry is still running so using social distancing rules Kel /Toody & I made our way to the island.

Almost didnt make the terminal in time -a MAD Gunman had shut down the Cook Highway so had a make a dash the backway to town ..!!Surprised

Strange times ..

Wind again was predicted to be better so struggled at either side of the reef flats where for some reason it always felt 3-4 knots lighter than in the middle -exited one gybe with speed & that was it ...

Happy to still have enough freedom to be able to enjoy our sport !!SmileCool

Port Douglas, QLD, AU. Yeah another dodgy session in Port. Ian and James came to Port looking for some action wasn't much wind when we got there thought it would kick in to a nice solid breeze but it was up and down all arvo still managed a bit of a blast on big gear 117 ISO 7.8m rig with big fin..Was hard to stay tuned up in a rather erratic breeze..The other boys did well Ian had a great blast think he changed to a small board at some stage and looked to be lit up most of the session on a 7m rig think we went home shagged but happy nice one mate..James had a good fun session, he stole my 105 Fox of the back of my ute early in the session and it didn't take him long to make friends with  it..he said it was very comfortable and easy to sail,he was hard to catch when it was fully lit up out in the big pool with a fully pumped 7m rig on it..And he looked good doing it as usuall.Wasn't sure if i was gunna get my board back..Guess it was good fun and a great catch up..cheers ED.

Good afternoon with Janes and Ed at Port D. Wind was a little up and down swaped boards a couple of times. Drouned the GT-31 - the screen now looks like a fish tank. I dont suppose it will work again.

Well done to all. Good to see the mountain men braving the conditions in Latte Land without out to many issues. GI looked like the place to be this weekend though.
