Remi Dunoyer (24497km): Kyeemagh, NSW, AU FMX 138 - Loftsails RB 8.6 - 44 fin Top day, only windsurfers there awesome!! Interesting alpha shape for what could be close to a PB on that board.
Jules (6841km): Kyeemagh, NSW, AU. Late season NE'er, light and variable but occasional gusts to keep the hop alive. Started on RS5 122L w/ 7.8m Loft blade and 40cm exocet, but soon changed to 8.4m Maui w/ 44cm carbon fin. Struggled all day to stay up wind, but hell it still beats sitting behind a desk at home all week!! And a beautiful sunny afternoon. Great to see many of the DD's again (in the distance of course)

George (32558km): Kyeemagh - gas station, NSW, AU || 12-18 NE RS5/KARace 7.1/Sonntag SLR44 & Stingray Foil/ Kaos 5.7/ Naish 2020 Foil 1150 Underpowered with the 7.1. Did a bit over 1 hr with the new naish 2020 foil: stable, but needs a bit more speed to take off. Back leg feels more comfortable. Max speed foiling: 16.54 knts, 5x10: 15.62 Posting with Canmore because I had issues with the watch. Great to see Berowne after so long, he was as fast as me on the rs5 with his foil and doing 30 degrees upwind better.
AlfaMale (18525km): Made noodle soup today.
Lots of people out at Kyeemagh today, riding everything from wave gear, slalom, foil-boards and foil-wings. Given the wind was already 18 knots and expected to increase I rigged 'small', just an 8.0m SKyBlade, FMX 91 and AFS 800 wing this time. Started with some up/down wind runs, but then fell in-line with everyone else and tried some reaches to see how fast I could go relative to everyone else... quite a bit slower than Remi! Of course! He was flying on his big slalom kit. Kept up with a lot of free riders, and faster than wave gear. Oh and that is when they were planing... I never really lacked wind! Nailed one flying gybe perfectly! And about 5 more with just one tap. So much has to go right to get them. Fell about 5 gybes too. I think they might have been too wide for good alpha's though :( After 73km not suprised that I'm tired now! |
