Blasting with Daishy on a day that nearly never was ?? Waited all day to get a few km's just before the sun set !!

ready at 8am , 8.6R8, 113Jp slalom, 22 xt 50 delta, 4km on water then  wind died, GPS said 111knot peak so I was impressed. 

waited 7 hrs till 3pm as it was 8 knots N. all day

3pm went Nw at 15 to 20knots consistent. didnt go off the plane so to speak for 3 hrs. came in in the dark

lucky to get a sail I guess. LG is SOOOOOOOO smooth,  make video soon, Acres of smooth. some patches mirror!!! definitely need delta or 45 plus degree to smash through weed bombs.

Just what my head needed after a long drought for me from LG.

Great sailing with Rob. thanks for the risky drive !!

Hey Tricky yes I was thinking that it would be a trip with no sailing which would be a first for Lake George the forecast was dodgy to say the least anyway I was getting desperate so going with Rob in his Audi towing the trailer at 10 L 100 was a very easy way of getting there 40 bucks each in petrol and we were there . that’s the same $ it cost me to go to boggy in back in my truck. By the way everyone is getting stopped coming back via Meningie by the police the guy just asked me if we were coming back from Victoria we said no we’ve just been sailing at Beachport and returning to VH he said “half your luck have a good day” So Smooth that I got my iPhone out and videoed Rob and me sailing .Rob look like a hovercraft going across the water at 60 k’s an hour.
