Good catch up with the local crew but unfortunately the wind was not being very sociable today.

Light wind and dropping, sunny and warm.
125 Rocket, 7.5 Turbo, 40 pointer
Good to see Andrew, Boz, Tim and Anita.
Beats me how Boz goes out on a 98L board, 6.3 sail and 27 fin and almost cracks 30 knots in the light wind conditions we had.

It was sunny and there were some friendly faces on the beach, otherwise there was nothing to recommend today. Gusty, shifty, light wind.

Unexpected session today down at Cott. Out on the WindTech 72 with 7.0 Loft RB and 33cm Tribal SPWD. Saw JJ and Pointman having a bit of fun on the foils. Good to be out on the water after a long interval.

Pretty good foil at Dutchies with a heap of other frothers
It looked pretty fresh when I rocked up at 1:40, prolly 18-20ish. Plugged in the Infinity 65 wing, and borrowed a demo 5.0 Simmer Tricera from Jesper, cos I thought my 5.7 Force might be too big.
First few runs on this set-up were mint, then the breeze dropped off and I was struggling to get going. I was a long way downwind contemplating a walk of shame when Huey piped up again and I managed to make my way back upwind in a couple of tacks.
Went ashore and upsized my wing to the Inifinity 76, and got back into it around 4. Much better on the bigger wing, and the breeze picked up again, so I had plenty of lift and the 5.0 was doing the business
The last 45 minutes were really nice. In hindsight the 5.7 woulda been fine, but oh well I got to try out the Tricera, which is a really nice sail for foiling, super light and surprisingly grunty for a 3 batten wave sail.
So overall a pretty good sesh, just a bit of a slow start.

FRace 120 then the foil with 7.0 overdrive, Not enough for the slapper and too much for the foil

1451 days ago Pinnaroo Point, WA, AU - very late for a sea breeze but great to get out after so long off the water. 5.8 Zeta , Slingshot foil - probably could have got away with something smaller but hate uphauling.
