Steve (29360km): Queens Lake, NSW, AU
Garry Minogue (903km): Trial Bay, NSW, AU A great westerly today, we had 5 out sailing although one of our team has defected to kite boarding. 5.8 Kult and F2 116
Mark Jordan (40622km): Well much better than the forcast was showing , wind was nw and just nice on the 6.3m ka race and 81 patrik speed , than it kicked in solid for about 30 mins , while we where rerigging a smalller sail for me the wind was really cracking gusting over 25knots , than it died out and swang to the west and came back in really nice for a while .
Thanks to Maree for convincing me the forcast was worth the drive
6.3m ka race and 81 patrik speed with 17cm kestral , it was really shallow today
Maree Jordan (11984km): Had a fantastic day on the water but my timing was out for the bigger gusts. Started on 6:6 koncept 80 patrik with 18 kestrel nice combo enough to keep going in lulls and nice with the stronger gusts and than it got VERY strong couldn’t pick the 6:6 out of the water scary, dropped slightly and got back to the boat changed down to 5:7 and 70 patrik and wind started to drop but fun just not enough to get good speeds. Floated back to boat as wind dropped out completely than pick up again 80 with 5:7 had 1/2 hr of best wind of the day not too strong but heaps of fun |
