Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Plenty of sails at the Mud Pit today, Kel, Fred, Gaz, Binny and B2. LOVED IT. Hard work at times, but my fitness certainly didn't help. Again, the best of the breeze sat offshore with mediocre breeze getting the the beach. Still, reckon everyone had fun.

Super awesome to see Fred back out on the water after what seems an age.

Big wind and pretty rough.  Not really too interested in it today.  Rigged 6.6 and Fox 120.  Looking forward to slightly less wind as the week goes on - as I've got a bit of time on my hands.  Great to sail with Ian, Mark, Ed, Rick - and Simmi was on her way down as I left.  Our numbers have swollen - must be something in the water.  Ed was out there working on his 100ks - the man is a machine.  And new guy, Mark is just looking great leaping around the water in 20 year old rig.  I've got a treat in the pipeline - Severne Fox 140 hopefully in the next fortnight.  Great to see everyone getting some big numbers.

Ripper turn out from the crew for a fun sesh at the mudpit!  Sailed with B1, Capt'n Kel, Binny, Freddo & Gaz Cool

Wind a bit lighter onshore...  Offshore polar opposites- was pretty damn solid & rough as guts making things a little gnarly at times...

Great to see Freddo back out on the water!  & Awesome to see Binny fully sending it with some forward roll attempts later on in the sesh- wished the camera was rolling for those!!!

Decided to call it quits when the temp got down to let's say 24...  that's pretty chilly for us Far North Queenslanders! Wink

Lots of fun, maybe more TOW tomorrow! Smile

Used "Big Woody" Futura 124, Severne OD 7.8 M2, Tribal 35, Motion

Port Douglas, QLD, AU..Big kids session in Port today Rough and windy..Had a good crew on the water Andrew, Rick, Mark and Ian..everyone was working hard but sailing well..105 Fox did what it does best with 6.5 Turbo cranked down to the max.Had to pull up at 4 oclock and do a fin change as Fox was getting a bit nervous with 38cm when the big gust came through well over 20kts  and a very chopped up sea.. Dropped back to a 36cm and happy Fox..Didn't do any down winders it was just too dodgy and could of ended bably..Guess it was worth rigging up for..Cheers Ed.

Some close numbers across the board gents. And, it's been a while since we last saw 7 sailors posting for the FNQ Mob on a single day. Cracking Autums day out in FNQ.

Great sail at PD to day. It’s been a while.  No numbers since I drowned my GPS last month.  Sailed with ED, Andrew, Mark, and Rick.  Used 90 Futura with a 26 weed speed fin. Early on in the day (1:00 pm) it was dodge the kites but as the tide came in and wind strengthened, they thinned out. By 3:45 I gave it all away. Well worth the drive down the hill.

Nice to see the boys again - good times on my 1st sail for the year, it's a shame I deleted my session from my GPS trying to format the card to get the data off Frown maybe I'll figure it out next time - which will hopefully be Wednesday @ Yorkeys if anyone is keen Cool
