Lake George, SA, AU

Not the day for your waterproof pouch to leak and fk up the numbers.

Nearly every run in every direction was 40+. I had a 41.75 on the screen and god knows what else...  and I know I did about 90kms. Grr..

Crazy windy. Some runs were terrific, and some were terrifying. The N/NW'ly blew the water back in from the big lake making it deeper and choppier. Flat water was there, but you had to work for it.

Always good to sail with Bogans.

Maxed on iS87 / 5.6R7 / 21TribalWS

A bit of analysis on the drive home and always learning... Patience grasshopper, the big day will come to you...

Hey Chris bad luck about the numbers .for that very reason I’m thinking about getting a second GPS unit that is just a logger . One of the new ones that have been built overseas I forget the guys name but I’ll let you know. We really have to order 6 to make the postage worthwhile but they are GPS compatible and made specifically for our sport I’ll let you know the details. I know sail quick uses three Gps is at the same time but I think that’s overkill but if we’re going for PBS !!, 1 Gps is not enough

Nothing worse than getting home and the gps stuffed up, those canmores did it to me a couple times. Hence the watch. Long drive for a leak to stuff it all up. Great speed anyway Chris 👍

Bugger about the hole in your pouch Chris... I'm glad you got the buzz of some terrifying sailing and didn't break anything else!

This is the very reason I carry a backup unit, the experience would have been invlauble and you had fun thats the main thing.
