Early morning sail on the incoming breeze and last of the tide. Made the schoolboy error of  listening to Phil's advice on sail selection, so had a quick change up from 6.5 to 7.5m early on. Still took a while for the beeze to come in enough to be fully powered, but by then it was time to head in as the sand bars were starting to rear their ugly heads. CA70 Ezzy 7.5 Talon 42.

An arvo at the mud pit, making sure B2 didn't get into trouble. Not great, but none the less reasonably enjoyable for the few times we got on the plane. The best was in the hr prior to us leaving the beach I reckon. One nice long run out and then the rain clouds started to reak havoc and it became squally with large bouts of nothing.

Plenty of bait fish in pretty clear water, doing their bait fish thing. There was plenty of opportunity to watch them Undecided. Pretty happy to be out actually, regardless.

Used: Motion, WT72, 7.8 OD M2, 43WT.

Short early arvo sesh with B1 at the mudpit.  Not much sailing outside the brown line today- Managed to catch just a bit of the last of the breeze before the clouds closed in quickly forcing our decision to call it a day.

Better than nothing we both agreed!...  Actually, it was quite nice for a change to sail on the carbon Futura 122 when the few puffs came through- Nostalgia!!! Smile ... rigged with Severne 7.8 OD M2 and BP 47.5

Port Douglas, QLD, AU. Quick arvo blast on 105 Fox fully pumped nocam 7m 40cm black project fin..Thought it was gunna be a good session but wind dropped out early.. The other boys Mark and Andrew got there a bit later than me and only got a couple of runs in and then it was game over..Not sure if it was worth the effort..

First 11 km was foiling then onto the CA112 and Simmer XC2 7.8 after wishingly rigging the 6.5 and dredging.

Some good flat water at the end but smoothest was the foiling....:-)

Ed, may i suggest that your 17kt hr would suggest that it was worth while rigging up for Wink. Good show today team, from the Sunny Coast, Mackay to Latte Land. Eventually the rain has to disappear and the breeze will return with more regularity.
