Captain skip bogan (50112km): Boggy Lake, SA, AU - 13 to 18 Early morning solo sesh on mid sized kit. Went down yesterday and the wind didn't happen so had to make up for it today. Busy at lunch so got there just after 8 and straight on the water. Mainly 12 to 15 but planed most of the time with the occasional glug. Later in the sesh some black clouds rolled in and brought rain and a decent gust but only lasted a short time and then wind started to ease. Love the Patrik 100 it is unreal - need more time on this board and with the 7m and Atomic weapon 36 all was just so easy and cruisy. Surprised no one else came but still had alot of fun . Patrik 100 / 7m ka sails race / Atomic weapon 36cm fin. | ||||||||||||||||||

Trousers (14352km): I was the lone ranger of bog today, chasing squalls on my 7.0/i97/BPR375. undercooked, could have used a 7.8 but some big gusts did come thru along with pelting rain but it was mostly blue skies. Not as cold as I'd expected, my new wettie is doing great.
[edit: ah Capt, you sailed the morning shift!] |
