Well that was better than expected.  Other than getting in and out of the launch it was quite pleasant. Sunny with no massive gusts to worry about.

 I wanted to try out Rus's 35cm Tectonic to see if it would be good in underpowered conditions and not give issues overpowered. I got a good test although there were no 20kts plus gusts to see if it would rail the board. 

Should be good for Coal in 5-15kt NE's though so I'll get one..My RS4 weedy is massively too big for this board..

 I was too hot at times. I was headed by wind shifts at both ends so you had to work the wind shifts if you wanted to get upwind.

It switched more NW at the end and died so I had to do an extra tack to get in. I stayed dry until I ran out of wind in the lee and jumped in to swim the board tha last bit. Dur.. Got my head wet . Next time I'll lower myself in slowly..

 going to try a launch on the windward side of Coal next time..
