Quite a frustratiing session. Sun was out, and my wife, Wendy was making the most of it catching some sun rays. I initially rigged a 6.6 and when I took it down to the waterfront the wind had dropped. Executive decision was to go with the 7.8 3 cam - I had the 8.6 turbo in reserve but thought that would be overkill. I spent an hour out there being mostly frustrated with not enough wind to plane on the way out and sometimes getting a bit of speed off the run back swell. Then the wind filled in nicely and I spent maybe 45 minutes having some fun. It is easier to sail hooked in than flogging yourself out trying to get going all the time. Wendy's birthday tomorrow - so fingers crossed for a Thursday sail - looking positive so far, touch wood.
