Holloways Beach, QLD, AU  Beautiful sunny arvo light wind solo sesh off the mudpit- 11~14kn SSE with the occasional gust.

Thankfully rigged the right gear today to be up and planing enough of the time for it to be quite enjoyable, albeit with some pumping involved...  Stayed in closer to shore where the wind seemed to be oddly slightly better.

Much better than work! Smile

Now time to tuck into an esky of seafood, courtesy of the "Prawn Star" with the wife! Cool

Used Jag 125, Severne OD 8.6 M2, Venom 48

Port Douglas, QLD, AU. late arvo session..Got down the beach a bit before 3 oclock was no wind ,new some was coming so rigged 7.8m on 117 isonic breeze started to build and there was a big incoming tide. Was hoping for a nice easy blast on big gear, only did 2 laps and a solid 20kts came from know where and big Isonic wasn't happy..105 Fox was a sleep on the back of my ute so had to go and lite it up.. haven't done a lot of hard sailing on Fox with big rig but i new it could handle it..So it was' man up'and get the crap beaten out of you in a very choppy sea with too much sail or go home.Wasn't gunna do a sail change as that was way to much effort..Fox ran sweet and did a way better job than i did.Took me awhile to get in to lock down mode and get Focused on a rather tough session.. Had 7.8 cranked down to the max and dialed in, but i still had my work cut out hanging on to it in a big sea.. Dropped a couple of gybes  from not being totaly committed to the job..Ran out of fuel just on sundown so it was game over..Andrew did well on his big Fox with a 7.8 rig as well.Rick had a great sail on 107 Iso and 6.5m rig but he ran out of fuel a bit early..It's days like this i am glad i own a Fox..Cheers Ed..
