So much fun.!!So happy to be back on the Island .Had an hour on the Reef flats then the water ran out . Waited 2 hrs then spent an hr or so on the Northern run . Had it all to myself.!! Gorgeous sunny day /spent some time exploring some of the small bays on the Northern side of the Island . Was great to see Toody ,Sid ,Shakti & all the Smiling Green Island staff -happy to be back at work ... | ||||||||||||||||||
Benny McCarthy (14614km):  Holloways Beach, QLD, AU Well that ended up being a bit of a hard slog!- wind actuals nowhere near as forecasted. Lots of Southerly gusts and soooo many holes to deal with... Wind was a bit better way out wide, but conditions were rough as guts... Tony the Truckie & Ian made his way down from the mountain to join in later on in the sesh for a quick blat until there enthusiasm waned also. All said, nice to get out on the water for another beautiful sunny afternoon in Far North tropical paradise whilst still in board shorts of course! Many thanks for the home grown Mandarins Ian- they smell delicious! Rigged Severne 7.8 OD M2 to go with carbon Futura 122 & Tribal 36 (changed to Choco 42 towards the end).
