we hoped for more wind , blowing a gale on the highway but only 20knots on the mud bank , super high water level which didnt help but still fun with mark , maree and brett

Had to make the effort today after sitting at the shop yesterday watching the wind ,so we decided to shut shop and head to queenslake

tide was really high when we got to queenslake so the mud bank was about 40 cm deeper than normal , lucky i took the 50 deg black project fins and made all the differnece in the rough water  just a pity the wind backed off as soon as the clouds rolled in, not as windy as predicted but did get some solid 20 knots but really gusty .

A lot of walking today but still heeps of fun with Dion , Maree and Brett having his first run on the mud bank and i think he did enjoy it .

6.3m ka race and patrik speed 71 litre , 27.5 cm bp 50 deg fin

Had a great day on the water the body was working better today but it’s make it hard to get comfortable one the gear. Love the alpha not bad considering I didn’t do a gybe. The water was high so rough and used 50 degree pb fin haven’t learnt how to control it well so had some hairy runs. Had some nice gusts and when the body warm up the wind dropped and I should have went and got the 80ltr. Koncept 5:7 70ltr patrik and 27 pb fin. It so nice to go sailing hopefully we get to go more often.
