First slalom sail in ages and I loved it doing over 34 in open lake on the fin just felt amazing and to think it was not that windy actualy would have been better on 7.7 most of the time but there was 20 min that was prety sweet .

Happy to be sailing again but back still sore I couldnt sail yesterday as still to sore so see how it is tomorow.

10-24kts WSW - SW Coal Point, NSW, AU 30-60cms messy cross chop , moguls and 'rollers'

6.6m KA Koncept - WT64 - 33Makani weedy

All by myself on a big mainly  empty lake..Pretty consistent for a WSW.

Really happy with the 2 sec and 5 x 10. I think the 5 x 10 is a lake PB for me and it wasn't flat!

I need to get fitter to do the board justice..Undecided

It was pretty full on at first being very powered in messy chop. I was buggered after 3 runs and didn't have the energy to gybe..Undecided

At times it would have been better on the 85ltre waveboard but I would have had to rerig a sail and it was a bit tricky launching with a dead patch in close.

 Luckily I got a 2nd wind .

I was looking for some flatter areas to bear off but there weren't any..near the end of the session there were a few patches but  that was  because there was no wind there so they were useless.

Tiring but a lot of fun..Tongue out The board keeps upwind easily and is so controllable I'm going for a lot more bearaways. I don't think I would have lasted one run on the slalom gear. Frown

Every now and then a big patch of 20 plus would come in and I thought the stronger stuff from Sydney was here but it would die down again. The water is starting to get a bit cold to dunk your head under..Laughing almost neoprene hood time..

Some big gusts coming through as I derigged but it had got really patchy.

Sue I was out there with you in spirit, but I will say you looked good out there but leaving the lounge and the warm fire was just too hard. I’ll go out tomorrow maybe
