Green Island, QLD, AU

Well, that was a sensational day on the Green, with B2. Last minute call last night to ditch the house duties Wink and was B2's wingman for the day. Started out cloudy and up an down breeze for the first 90 mins - sitting around 10 kts. Then the clouds lifted, the sun shone and out came the breeze. Not strong, around 13/14 kts ,but steady, which is all we wanted - on big gear ,it was a bit of fun.

Very little run in the tide today, which was perfect. Noice , long runs out wide into the deep, dark blue/black edges of Arlington - which i made sure, come hell or high water, i didnt drop a gibe. PB corner was a delight, although a touch shallow for 47cm fins which meant we had limited time in the smooth.

Used: Motion, WT72, 9.4 ODM2, 475BPR - well worth the effort. B2 sailed like a pro today. Looked great out on the water. Time disappeared real quick.

Green Island, QLD, AU  Fun half day Sunday sesh in our own piece of Far North Tropical Paradise~ 10-15kn SSE with the occasional little gust.

On the big gear with B1- Wind a bit light on to begin with for the first hour or so but then picked up enough for the rest of the sesh to make it thoroughly enjoyable.

Very neap tide, a little shallower than first thought.  We stayed off the drag strip today mostly venturing out wide, that was until I decided the water depth was high enough to roll the dice and have a crack on the Eastern speed run- miscalculated by about 1cm turning the Choco 42 fin into a 41... Foot in mouth

B1 rigged his new sail & mast for the first time today and looked to be pretty chuffed with the new addition- nice sailing & great company! Cool

Spotted quite a bit of marine life in the crystal clear water.  Think we definitely picked the best spot in regards to wind for local sailing today- the surroundings, sunshine & pretty girls on the beach were all just an added bonus! Smile

Used the Jag 125 to go along with Severne 8.6 M2, Choco 42 & Motion gps.
