Boundary Island, Peel Estuary, WA, AU

Short session with a few fading gusts after expecting a mid afternoon forecast blast. Spent the whole time trying all sorts of settings for the Gaastra 7.1 as it felt heavy. Tried the recommended settings which was 5cm more downhaul than I've used in the past but lost all power in the sail. Switched between the recommended and my old settings about 10 times but still confused what the right setting should be. The outhaul setting is way out too. Weird. Good to see Lunny flying again. Pelican Point, WA, AU

Launching from Peli Point is a bit tricky in a westerly breeze but it was cranking in the middle during the squalls. Good to see Greg going for it and doing really well on a 7.6 in those strong bullets.

Melville Beach, WA, AU

Super fun sesh at Melville in a nice Westerly that was gusting to 25K.

Pretty lit at times on the WT64 + 7.6 TR9 + 34 Lockwood fin (that I demoed today).

Really nice fin, I threw everything I had at it today and it was rock solid. Cool

Stoked to get a powered up sesh on the slapper, last decent slapper sesh was back in June.

Today was an unexpected bonus, I had jury duty, but I was released in the second ballot and there was no way I was going back to work with some nice breeze forecast.  I got down to Melville around 1:30 and it was just coming in.  Rigged the 7.6 thinking it might just do the trick, and then it booted in.

Good to share some runs with Slowy and Scott also.  Smile

Another windy day with improvement in 3 categories and a reshuffling of the jelly beans.

I appreciate the effort even if the wind didn't blow as it should have.

Bad luck with the sail settings Woody. Days like that are annoying. Makes you appreciate the goldilocks days more.

Good turn of speed as always, Lunny.
