Looked good first thing, but couldn't find any motivation. Finally decided I would go for a "1 hour". By the time I got out it was 11.30.

First 30 minutes was nice and cruisey and all was going well. Then suddenly the sun came out and with it a gusty 20-25. I was seriously bent out of shape, it was all I could do to stay on. I dived down towards Rathmines to try and avoid the worst of it. But all I found was even bigger swell. The last 10 minutes went on forever, I was relieved to see it tick over the hour so I could head for home.

Exocet RF91, TRX 6.3, Starboard Race 800 - Wind 12 knots SSE

Exocet RS6, TRX 6.3, Vmax 43 - Wind 18-20 knots SSE

Had a few runs up/downwind on the foil initially then wind kicked on so switched across to the slalom gear.  So nice to get out in the sun - sailed with Cluffy, Gert, Lajos and a kiter.  All the peak speeds done on the slalom gear - foil was around 20 as it was hard to get locked in with the strong wind.

Quick sail before work had to finish at 12 and wind realy picked up from then on but had a great sail anyway.
