Great sail on the harbour. Wind was very easterly and at times a little light and puffy. But great afternoon sail.

Unfortunatly I broke my harness well hanging on only by one little piece of metal so couldn't push as much as I would have liked.

Lyttelton Harbour, NZ ..100L/64W, 7.0 NCX, fins 37 & 40. ..My first time sailing with a rotational sail in more than a year I think, it felt very strange, much too flat and pulling every which way, and depowering much earlier in the gybe than I prefer - I would much rather have gone out with a race sail, but was worried about ending up in the cold water and having to try water-starting with a heavy waterlogged race sail. ..Still I enjoyed myself though, and very glad of the exercise.

Lyttelton Harbour, Mike1 135L, Fanatic foil, 6,5 Severne, managed a short session on the foil before having to go to nightshift, trucking up and downwind nicely, caught the wind before if backed off.  Good feel start to my week.

Hi Pete, that's a convincing assessment, thanks. I sometimes wonder how the race sail sizes relate to the "normal" ones. It should not be possible to handle them as you can, really.
