Sailquik (29582km):  6 categories       Mallacoota - Goodwin Sands. Vic Another great adventure. First sail since May. I'm a little out of condition. Nowhere near the best conditions for this spot, but heaps of fun anyhow. "It's not about the numbers, it's all about good company and laughs". Wind was slightly too broad most of the first half of the session, It probably would have been perfect of the sandbar was fully exposed. Later the wind did swing more south for a short time but was up and down a lot. At the end it went too west but really kicked in well over 30 knots with water willy willys!! First shots fired on the Sands. Great to be allowed out for a bit of regional travel . Not ideal conditions with very little bar showing and a squally wind. Very sketchy fast runs to get the 40 and was lucky to get away with them. Martin’s new fins are AWESOME and just don’t let go at speed. Great place to sail and catch up with Dale and Mike and drink too many beers 😂 😂. Lessons to Daz and Kempster.......don’t believe Gary 😝😝😝.
