Nelson Haven - mid to low tide. NW 20-30knots.

Great session but gutted I didn't go far enough up wind to get the full NM down Cry it was best run as it was my first before I got tired (500m was 31knots)  Lesson learned for next time.

The local crew were all watching on the beach and missed out on a fun session before the wind died.

Great battle on the Estuary in the NW today. Very gusty with some huge gusts rolling through well over 40knts. I was barely able to keep board on water in some gusts.

The wind switched from NW to SW and i was lucky to be over on Scott park side and got some awesome runs infront of the shops.

My watch showed a peak speed of 39knts, but I guess with it so choppy and gusty was hard to hold for 2 secs.

Love sailing in these tough conditions learn so much about how to handle your gear.

Christchurch Estuary, Rather windy session on the estuary. MPYC wind meter 69 knots peak gust. Major trouble trying to say on the water, Managed a couple of runs but not comfortable at all. Big wind shift west to south. Both directions nuking . Fun conditions on the estuary not any where else id want to be in these conditions. FF 79 R7 5.1, C3 30

Hi Steve, the wind came back gusting 30kn+. That would have been Boulder Bank run in the opposite direction!
