Fun sail at Liptons, water shallow, wind up and down. Nice to be joined by slugger, stretch and waricle.

Went with the 55cm board, 6.2 koncept and 20cm@55 fangyised deltoid. After a while came in to try the recntly tweaked Fangy 21 speed, but apparently the bolts I was using were too short. As I had a narrow window of oppotunity I didn't mess around, went straight back out.

Great to sail and good to catch up with Rob,Peter and Mike the rope man.

Mike think you should enter for worlds strongest Man that was a massive effort to drag that rope ball in that far.

Cool

Well Peter did a lot of the work, I was going slow and steady, Peter was trying to run. But it was good to get it ashore, I'm sure somebody would have hit it before it arrived at Fangys.

Just checked my Google Earth tracks. It was 280m from shore when I got to it.

I initially moved it 53m before, I then had the bright idea of tying it to the rear strap and trying to sail it in, but I just went another 13m mostly sideways. Peter came to help me. and I sailed my board in and walked back out. Peter had moved it another 100m by the time I got to him. The two of us took it another 80m, then Peter went to get his rope. I dragged it another few meters, then we all pulled it over the shallowest hard bit up to the beach. Don't bothe to add the numbers up they don't balance because we didn't take the shortest route to shore, we were angling a bit towards the car park.

So the straight yellow line slightly north of the launch is the 280m ruler
