Clifton Beach, QLD, AU .

Wind SSE 20-26 knots .Outgoing tide .

Quick blast of the beach after morning clinic .Wind was honking & seas were crazy rough .Rigged the Evo 10 7m2 RRD Xfire 98 & Tsw 31 .Sailed over to double Is where there the tide was just right for 10-15mins before it started getting dangerously shallow .Surprised

Had a couple of nicely powered up runs but man you had to concentrate- the goal was picking a line between the rolling waves on the reef margin -fun but risky .Turtles as well in  the mix .Sealed

4 weeks between sails & all the sailing fitness has disappeared ...

Boyne Island, QLD, AU

F2SX80L, 5.8 Koncept, 30 Volt

Gusty ENE blowing into the mouth against the outgoing tide chopped it up a little but there was enough wind to stay on the plane. Bit of a lottery with the turtles again.

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU Fun sesh with Capt'n Kel & Gaz off the mudpit!

Super rough water conditions, much windier than my first thoughts before rigging- it was honking!!!

Sailed way overpowered for most of the sesh, Aarrgggh!...  spent more time in the water than I would have liked...  really need to sort out my gybes!...  Left foot, fractured earlier this year,  was giving me a little bit of grief- comes & goes (perhaps age related)... Yell

Kel looked to be having a blast on the wave gear catching air off some nice ramps!  Gaz was on fire today - absolute incredible speeds considering the conditions!!

Maybe more tomorrow Smile

Used the Exocet Turbo 106, Severne 7m OD R4, Tribal 35

Urangan, QLD, AU

Experienced HBays incredibly flatulant breeze today...Oh, oops, fluctuating breeze. 8 sails on the water this afternoon in what can only be described as a sensational spring afternoon. Even the resident Dugong was present up on the weed flats out wide.

Every thing else was on point, except the breeze - 5-15kt gusts and just never really filled in quite like the guru's were expectng. I can really get the understanding of what this place would be like in a killer northerly. You would seriously have NM, upon NM, to play in - just the best, longest runs across the bay. Mmmm, dont think ill get that opportunity this time around.

Used: Motion, Futura "Big Woody" 124, Tribal 48Mk1, 9.4 ODM2
