sboardcrazy (24353km):  2 categories   5-10kts one puff 12-14kts ENE -NE Peely Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU 7.5m GT Turbo- WT64 -24FF Got down there early as it was supposed to blow in the morning and then be thunderstorms later.. nothing all am but then the sun came out and a light NE started..I didn't really expect to get going much but I wanted to see if I could get up to the top of the run and try some gybes.. Mainly slogging but that's quite pleasant on that board .It feels faster than it is.. Got one powered gybe that felt ok but as usual it was too wide for an alpha.. Subplaning starboard gybes weren't bad but the port ones weren't very good. I improved a bit by the end. I'm happy with the way the board got upwind in the light wind and the one puff I got where I did a little bearaway felt great. I'm getting a bit better at getting going in the lightwinds.. I can hardly wait to get a powered up sesssion in the flatwater.. Just wayne & I
