Stingray140/ XO 4.7 & North vodoo 4.0/ Naish 1400AH front wing & also a few runs with Hover122/ North 4.0 and same foil

I was tortured by short strong gusts and then lulls. Tried a few set ups to see how it worked. To handle the gusts better the 4.0, the Hover is easier in strong wind. The Stingray feels very stable , but if it takes off is harder to control.

Foreshore Rd, Botany, NSW, AU. Exocet RS5 122L. 44cm Vmax carbon, Loft racing blade 7.8m. Magnificent sunny afternoon down at foreshore, but typical Westerly (18to 25kn) - many minutes of frustrating gusts up and down, then out of nowhere a few massive gusts. To put into perspective, my max speed was 1.3kn faster than my 2s. The lighter winds meant flatter water on the inside so gybing heaven when there was any wind to get me round.
