Coal Point, NSW, AU. Naish Big wing (no GPS) then Kitewing (with GPS). 4.8 Hucker. Looked very light and uo & down when I was rigging but came in and swung from SW to S. Changed wing and had a bit of speedy fun. Andy looked very relaxed and fast as usual.

Solid foil sess with Tony. Loads of wind, a bit too much at times

Sunshine, NSW, AU

Falcon 115, s2 venom 7 , select v max 35

Very chopy lake today and it picked up over 30 so to much and too rough for the 7 in the end so called it a day.

Felt scary fast doing runs over 34 in that size chop.

5-22kts Sw-SSW then 20kts plus Canton Beach, NSW, AU level 0.43

 7m M2OD - WT57 ( 90ltre) - 21.5cm FF ( cutdown 24) then 28cm WT weedy then 24cm FF

Fun..Tongue outTongue out

Silly me believed the forecast which was for 20kts in the morning building to 30 plus in the pm. The plan was to go for an hr early on before it got too strong.. Yeah right..Undecided

Got there at 8.30 to 5-10kts with bit more in the rain.. hung around till middayish and it started to come in 10-15kts..I rigged the small kit expecting it to build and spent the first 1.30hr underpowered.. I only got going occasionally and couldn't point as I wasn't powered up enough..

I was going to change to the big board but it seemed to come in  so I put the usual weedy on hoping it would get me going earlier..I'd been told normal weedies were the go but I was picking up lumps of weed so I eventually came in for the bigger fangy for security in the 20-30cm messy bumps..

Finally I got some well powered sailing..Tongue out That combo was so comfy and controllable. I never had a moments worry and was going for it flatout in the gusts.. I'm very happy with the 2 secs in those conditions..Cool

That board excells in those type of messy conditions..I had to take my glasses off as I couldn't see. The rain was stinging at times.I  may have to get a full visored helmet for days like today.

It came in an extra notch at 3ish gusting 25kts plus and was probably getting near 30 as I derigged.. I would have liked to try the 4m and wavegear but I'd been out 3.30hrs and didn't feel like rigging down..

Really fun once the wind angle changed and it picked up..Tongue out

I love that place if you can score some wind from the right direction..

Just me and another guy at first then Bill, Pete , Pugs, Bruce , Luc(?)and a few guys from Sydney?

Sue,

That Windtech board you have was a great board in that chop we had today. Dont know how you managed to stay with a 7.0 all day. Good effort.
