Easterly mainly but better than yesterday. Good to be able to get on the water just about every day with Mike Paul and Bruce..using my trusty SuperCruiser and 7m

Coal Point, NSW, AU. 5.5 Ezzy Naish Foil. Pretty much the same as yesterday just no Andy. Variable wind direction and strength, Greg heading out as I came in.

5-17kts ESE- ENE patchy , weedy and gutless Coal Point, NSW, AU

7.5m Turbo - WT64 ( 112ltres) - 32 WT weedy

Crapola. Should have used the bigger fin but it was gusting over 15kts when I was rigging and I thought it was going to come in..yeah right..Undecided I almost rigged the 7m.. lucky I didn't..

Big dead hole in front of Coal and I took 30mins to get above the point with shifty patchy wind. Once there I got an ok run towards Carey just enough to get in the back strap and go if you worked at it..I  turned around and it had swung ESE so I couldn't clear the point in one tack  Yell

There were heaps of yachts racing through the middle of the bay where the best wind was and I didn't want to risk cutting through them as it was still very patchy so I only got a short tack. Luckily it swung a bit more E so I got past..nothing at the sand islands still lots of weed but not as bad as the weekend. At least the lake was pretty flat and no boats south of Coal ..Unfortunately not much wind either. It was almost like sailing a W with big lulls and then wind shifts..yuck

Why do I sail these gutless easterlies?  Undecided Frown Wish I'd played more in the good wind at the sand islands at the weekend..

It would be nice to have some consistent planing wind for once. I hope tomorrow is better..

Just me and 30 yachts then Lajos and later Tony & Gert on foils.

Great foil session today , everyone coming in as i went out , used metre wing today , so much better in gusty swinging breezes.
