Melville Beach, WA, AU 85 Sonic 5.4K 22FF

I was feeling weak today and I wasn't breathing well, so it was all a bit of an effort today.

I feel more tired after 7 km today than I did after 13 on Thursday.

Pelican Point, WA

Great session at Peli on the Cruise Missile with 7.8 Loft Racing Blade and 24cm Stealth fin. Headed up to Melville for a look and caught up with Ant on the foreshore. Did a blazing downwinder back to Peli through some pretty hectic chop and survived. Peli was pretty hectic when I turned up and a bunch of picknickers had taked over the rigging area. All good though - great to see so many people out enjoying the great weather. Some more seabreezes like today would be awesome.

Carlisle St, Safety Bay.

Great sesh at the Bay.

Started on the Gladiator 90 + 6.6 TR7 + 27 Tribal WS, and headed down to the Pond, cos I thought there might be some speed runs on offer.  Alas the tide was way too low for the bar, which was a shame, cos there were fewer kites than usual, and I was stacked on the 6.6, which would've equated to high 30s runs for sure.

Went for a few laps doing alphas, thinking it might get deep enough late arvo, but then I sheared a bolt on one of my rear footstraps, so I went back to change boards.

Grabbed the WT64 + 33 Tribal WS and spent the rest of the sesh fanging around at Pengos, where I got all my best speeds.  Heaps of fun blasting down the sand bar.  What I really love about sailing at Safety Bay is that even when it's nuking, and it was 25K+ today, the chop is still manageable.

Stoked.  Good training for Cervantes and I dare say I'll be back for more before the Cervantes Challenge in 3 weeks Cool
