Yorkeys Knob, QLD, AU

Quick sail with B2 until family duties and fitness ran out !!! Left B2 with the best of the afternoon. Looked a treat with the sail swept back honking back and forth from the beach. Breeze kicked in around 2:30 and stayed consistantly 14kts id say. Up till then its was 10-14 and very hot, which meant there was no real punch to the breeze. Water temp has increased since my last sail locally and the sand, walking down to the water was out of this world HOT!!!

Used: WT72, 9.4 ODM2, 46 Tribal Mk1.

Yorkeys Knob, QLD, AU  Nice little light wind sail off Kiter's Beach with B1, the foiling kiters & a young dude smashing it on a wing thingy foil board!

Ended up being 10~14kn E-ESE for the arvo.  Not much punch in the breeze, hot as, & the water felt a bit confused today with no real swell lines to work with, but still all good fun! Cool

Gybes seem to be getting better, both port & starboard! Smile

Used the Jag 125, Severne 8.6 M2, Venom 48

I went down to crabsville for something different. Been wanting to try these funy little weed fins out in some wind to see what the fuss was all about.

96 simmer 3xs  6.3 scr  and 16 delta tribal. I really should have been on a 7 and it seems I need a bigger fin as I spent a lot of the arvo nursing it down the runs and trying to find the right stance and combination of settings. Was pretty fun gybing on the glass like water. Just dont push to hard on the fin as you will do freestyle.

good to see e few sailors out and about.

ticked off seeing a crab

ticked of getting stuck in the mud ankle deep

ticked off getting done over by bindis

all in all a succesful day
