You need days like today to make you appreciate a crap session.

Glory Holes, Australind, WA, AU FF113/SCR7. Very underwhelming conditions today. Gave up the chance of a good sail at Liptons to fit in with Lachy's social schedule. It was all holes with gusts coming from SW and SE. One bearaway. Yell

Liptons

(It was a crap session and for some reason KA72 acepted my speeds but wouldn't send them so I typed them in from the KA72summary)

Carlisle St, Safety Bay, WA, AU

RRD fsw96, 5.9 endure,  Chico weed wave

Very high tide and lots of chop.  Was a bit of a struggle getting away from the shore with some big holes in the wind but once out was well powered.

Still struggling in windsurf mode after so much foiling and my gybe's are apauling in the chop but managed one good one on the face of a swell. The board handles the chop really well and the double density pads take out a lot of the shock. Ended my session with a full speed off, going into a gybe at the island. I stepped too far forward burying the rail and ended up with a massive back slap on the water. Should get a bit more action in the next couple of days.

Fab session with Frank at Fangyland. The tide was super high, the wind built from being do-able on a WT Cruise 287, FF22 and Koncept 7.0 and ended up with me eventually just running out arms. I went all over the paddocks, there was just varying levels of chop, from moguls to organised lines, right down to the smaller chop on the flats. But as much fun I was having travelling downhill at all crazy angles, the sucker speed run which started as small rolling wavelets and transformed into solid sphincter inducing thrills and hence kept my wits about me big time.  I am learning more about the WT Cruise with each sesh, and this one was super powered up on WT Cruise. Mast foot back to 2/5’s back and that was like turning off the electronic nannies. Another level of speed and liveliness, no hint of a  nasty bite in return. I am really excited to play around with the nuances some more.

Top Ten Fangy Crash and Splash.

Post my scores as soon as my Motion charges ;upLaughing
