Some how I over posted this so have to post it again.???
A very Gusty W to WNW wind. High tide up over the shallows North of the car park. the wind was a bit more consistent up there but the chop was pretty bad in all but one small area. I managed a couple of runs and then had to make a dash back as the wind died.
I thought it would be very shallow (it wasn't) so I tested Martins Prototype Atomic 20cm delta weed fin and I was very impressed. Most 50 degree weed fins struggle in no weed choppy conditions, but this one held on extremely well. I only manged to get some spinouts when really pushing upwind at slow speeds in huge gusts and chop. Just about any other fin I have, seedy or not, would have struggled to do better! Fast and safe. Matrtin might struggle to get this one back from me.
