Nice powered up Hour with Tricky. Just got him in the endLaughing

Simon sailed with us too. It was only a short session but a lot of fun. Did a nice lay down gybe for the punters in the caravan park, then tried another and stuffed it.Laughing

What a Hoot Big Bunta Bogan Blast with Hoppy at the localSmile

Played cat and mouse over the hour was in frount at the start then hoppy was getting away on starboard & I was catching up on port then the wind dropped about a knot & hoppy was blitzing me in the last 15 minutes so it will be dam close but I thing he might just pip meEmbarassedCry Simo sailed as well with some great squirts off the wind. Was a last minute after work sail and dam was it a great call. Rigged the 7Loft RB on the Isonic87 FFF21 might have been better with the bigger board as planing out of gibes was hit & miss. Even so it was a cracke of a SailSmileTongue outCool

Day 2 - Lake George.

A start to the lake george season. Another arvo sesh with Boombuster, Tone and Simon.  When we turned up the lake looked windy - 20 to 25 knots.  Decided on the Fanatic falcon 51 - had it a long time and never tried it.  Used the awesome 5.7 ka speed - this sail really does rock and the MUF XT-50 16 fin - great up wind was a little sketchy in the chop but still worked well - fast.

Headed up above rod's rocks and had some nice runs into very shallow water.  Felt like 40 most runs but didnt crack it.  Decided quickly to really put the speed board through it's paces so went for speed for a short time, got an hour done - several 38's with some alphas and did a nautical at the end of the hour almost to the spit - couldn't find flat water in the short tiime i was there.

Went back up the top and tried the 5 mile run - again very shallow but not the usual flat water we have become to expect at LG although had a ball and the Falcon 51 and ka 5.7 are going to be a married couple - love match made in heaven.

The board is very nice to ride and gybes like a rocket for a speed board and the hour was okay due to how choppy it was.  Had a few exciting moments when the fin let go at 38 knots but kept it all together.  Packed it in reasonably early as knackered lol.

Looks like a sail tomorrow, head home Thursday and back for a week in a couple of weeks - BRING IT ON!

Fanatic falcon 51 / 2021 5.7m ka speed / MUF XT-50 16cm fin.
