Liptons Gusty frontal wind. Better than working sail, wind was on/off, but still a noice way to finish a working day.  Simmer 3XS 106  TR16 6.3 Pepefoil 25/48

As my Zimmer frame was in for its 78th birthday service I chose the wt 570 for transport. For once I used the correct sail and fin ..

With advice and assistance from the Wind tech guru and also from Rob I began to get comfortable on the Bullet 570.

Woo Hoo . My first 30Knots in 2 years. There was more to be had on the day But I still do not have the sailing fitness to handle what were good if roughish conditions

Managed to turn my Mini off somehow when putting it in my backpack case. So i have one minute of data. Surprisingly it doesnt tell the whole story. I am confident I have a 40 knot alpha and nauti, and somewhere around the speed of sound for my 2 sec....Tongue outLaughing

Well done Basil, a belated birthday present! 30 knots at 78 is a very respectable achievement. I hope I am still sailng at your age.

The conditions were pretty crap but Basil looked like a Man on a Mission... maybe an Old Man on a Mission but that's sort of the same thing.

Decrepit is all over this but here's another perspective on KA72 interpretation of GW60 vs Motion. I'll have a look at what GPS Results in case there is anything interesting.

I'm easily pleased, I thought the conditions were quite nice in comparison with what I am used too.  Well done Mandurah folks good results all round, especially to my fellow mature person, Basil....good work!

Nice speeds there Rob on the 57. Glad you're loving it. Glad to help out Basil - looks like you were getting some better runs after we chatted. Nice work on getting your 1st 30kt run in a few years.

Top stuff Basil! Cool

Rob, realistically the level of precision between those 2 devices looks fine to me? (Differences of a few hundredths of a knot is fake news...)
