Trousers (14352km): el bog, a good turn out, even though the forecast didnt quite deliver, maxxed at about 17kts ssw. flat but patchy. at times, my big gear (7.0m/isonic97/bpr375) was under par, but I still spent most of my time planing, and just good to be out with the captain and crew.

Retired Bogan (6747km): Boggy Lake came in as forecast 15-18 rigged 6.5 Ezzy on 90L Exercet. Unfortunately the session was cut short, pulled a muscle in the back of my leg, hope its not a hammy, looks like off to the Chinese medicine man next week | ||||||||||||||||||
Captain skip bogan (50090km): Boggy lake - after lunch breeze on mid sized kit - 10 to 12 sometimes - 13 to 15 other times lol. Arrived to what looked like a decent breeze. Saw Trousers was out on 97 and 7m so went the same. Chris D rigged 8.6 and 107 and i should have gone bigger lol. Rigged the 7m and Patrik 100 and off i went. Headed up the top and found breeze a little gusty - sometimes 10 knots and a few gusts 15 or so. Like Trousers i planed most of the time and had fun. The wind was forecasted to pick up to 15 to 20 but seemed to drop rather than increase. Found the cams on 7m not rotating as usual lately and at the end of the sesh with Leon and Chris D we checked and i have broken both bottom battens. The sail hasn't been the same the last few weeks and glad we found out why. Will sort for the next sesh... Patrik 100 / 2020 7m ka sails race / Black Project R375.

Jack Bogan (3705km): Boggy Lake, SA, AU Started on the 115 Patrik with 7.8 Loft RB. Couldn't get comfortable as wind on and off. Wind picked up so decided to change down. Felt like it was picking up whilst on shore so put on the 6.3 KA Bad choice as couldn't get planing. Rerigged again with the 7.3 HSM GPS. Good choice this time. Had acouple of good runs but then it was time to go home.
