Epic splash today. Wind was light as a feather on arrival to WP. Rigged a 5.8 had one run and came back for the 5.2M. A massive 35knot squal came through and I was out the back in what was literally surf. Somehow made it back to base sliding out the rear end like I was on a drift circuit coming home: Fin just would not grab in 35knots and came off three times getting back. Could only see about 30metres in front of me the rain was pelting so hard. Then the hugest rainbow came out to sail towards. Some huge jumps and was a little hesitant to launch into some of them. Rig felt a lot better with boom higher up the mast so thanks to Simon at Boardcrazy for that tip.
