Grassy Pt, CC, TX. Underpowered on RB7.8/FF99/WD31. Went down one board size (112 -> 99) but 2 fin sizes (35 -> 31) today, but should have just stayed on the same gear. Wanted to use a smaller fin since we launched at the JFK bridge where the water at the launch is shallow, and very unpleasant to walk in (deep mud), so went with the smaller board. Wrong choice, both for the board and for the launch. Lots of dead fish on shore from last week's cold.

Grassy Pt, CC, TX. More fun than yesterday - the Isonic W54/SD19 combo felt much better than the FF99/SD23 combo yesterday, even though the 6.3 was too small today for speed, except for one lucky gust at the start of the session.
