 7.5m turbo- Windtech64( 112ltres) - 35cm tectonics weed demon

Hard work but  at least it was fairly flat by LM standards. I went out too early and I was off the plane a lot. Above the point  I managed to get planing at times by bouncing the board in each gust. That got pretty tiring after 1.30hrs..Frown

Not a lot of boats although I was dodging yacht races between Coal and Carey.

I want to get some planing entry gybe practise but generally I'm not powered up enough..Undecided

I got a few ok runs near the end as the gusts got stronger. Only one where I could commit to both footstraps and feel comfortable.

There were some nice big weed clumps ready to cause havoc for unwary fins or foilers.

I had a hard off coming in to finish. I was blasting in as usual and took one foot out but the other accidently came out . The kit kept going and I went off the back and landed hard on my back. The water felt like cement and  the helmet gave me a nice whiplash..Ow..Sealed It was so hard the Garmin sent out an emergency/ incident  call and my worried partner rang .

Painkillers, stretches  and an anti imflammatory rub and so far I'm not too bad .

Andrew & I. Later a  learner winddinger ( looked like hard work), John on a foil and Gert
