A SSW wind day on the lake. It wasnt as strong as hoped for, but that has been the story of all this season so far.
We were kind of a bit late starting because it's not too inviting to go out early when it's raining.
Just as I finished rigging a noticed a cloud back coming and anticipated a squall. I just caught the end of it as I launched and immediatly headed downwind between the islands from Cockies. I knew I needed to bear away but I just couldnt until I cleard the bottom island and even then I was not yet in the faltter water. It felt super powered up, but I just didnt get the best out of it. There should have been a 40 in that one I recon.
The rest of the session was up and down but mostly underpowered. Andy and Jill were going really well again and Rick came down the lake and blew me off on his bigger gear. . Jimbob was in Cruising mode but still doing some nice speeds on the Stoke. It was one of those days when I felt like the Statue, and not the Pidgeon. But any day on LG fanging around it still a good day!
That was it for a while for now. But I'll be back!
