Peel Inlet, WA, AU.  A few firsts for me today, on advice from Captain decided to try first sail at Liptons, first time sailing with booties (weird) and first time to meet Hardie who was just about to launch when I arrived.   Also first time with the new fin with any real wind. Hardy gave me a quick 10 sec run down to the location and was off.  Reg arrived and another sailor from Perth (forgot name..sorry).  Got out on water and was faily light wind and very choppy so was wondering whether worth the drive.  Noticed that Reg and Hardie were downwind a few hundred meters so headed that way and the water was a lot smoother.   Wind picked up a little and was overall a very enjoyable session...pity I had to stop to get home.   The new fin worked as promised and was rock solid in the chop and very good heading up wind.   120 Tabou Rocket, 7.8 Severne M2 Overdrive, 33 Tribal Weed speed

Hardie, Flex and Remery in attendance on a breezy, bumpy (for Liptons) afternoon.  iSonic 90 and 7 metre Mach3 worked fine but then I tried the Mach3 with my 54 cm wide JP Slalom, a silly move, sail was just too big on that tiny board.  Nice day out though.

I thought the elbows were improving but rigging up and sailing proved otherwise. Cry

Various parts hurt so much with just rigging that I almost gave up without sailing at all.

Not bothering to post numbers, didn't even reach the minimum speed on my GPS.

More rest required. Dr says these tender spots are a post viral inflammation and should go away eventually. Frown
