Andrew Haigh (48951km): Coal Point, NSW, AU. NE 4-10 kts Stingray, Whisperer and 5.5m. With the forecast of 35-45 kts in mind , Sue and I nervously rigged up. I had a couple of 10-12 gusts and then a lot of time struggling home in 4-5 kts | ||||||||||||||||||
sboardcrazy (24363km): 5-12kts NE - NNE Coal Point, NSW, AU 7.5m Turbo- Windtech 64 - 35cm tectonics So much for the 30kts forecast. It looked ok as I was rigging 15-20kts plus. Rigged 7m Turbo- WT57 - 28cm WT weedy worried it would be too big but of course it died. Andrew went out and buzzed back and forward and said the angle was good and it was 12-13kts..I rigged the big kit.Next time I looked he was a little dot over near bargo house slogging along trying to get back .The wind had turned more N and died. I only had a short window as I had an appointment so I played it safe with short runs and keeping upwind. A bit better than yesterday both angle and strength but it died as I got back and started to rain. Andrew didn't look like he was having much fun.. |
