Good to be back on the water after a two month way lay. South South Easter more consistent today with hardly a rain shower, water still warm and sun shining. Great to get out and exercise for about two hours and share today’s sailing conditions. Out with Rob, Nick, Ben, Kev, Vando, Craig and Trevor H. Tomorrow will be a good sign of how the shoulder and elbow are feeling after today’s excursions, hopefully not too sore. Sailed on Retro gear. AHD 270 followed by F2 Stoke 96 + Naish SL 5.2m2 + Select 31 Wellington Point, QLD, AU

Got the call from Dave about the wind and Roland said what a top sunny day it looked and it was on. Got down the point and rigged the 7.0 immediately. Out with Dave, Nick and Rob early on and joined later in the day by Shane, Chriso and others. Morning session saw some super smooth rollers out the back and definately more wind a NM out. Emjoyed a port tack run launching off the back tip of some rollers and holding it. Afternoon was a bit more rough, and tough getting out the leads. Surprised to have a NM PB today! Did go for a couple both starboard tack and port tack. Good to see Chriso enjoing a few half mast jumps too and getting into the spirit of a SEr.

Fun wee sail today, shame it died out and I should have got there earlier.  Being a lot of south there was a decent section some nice sharp ramps were lining,  up quite good for a few airs! A fair few sailers were cooked or one the way when I rocked up but tops to be out with them.
