Sans Souci - George's river, NSW, AU || 10-25 W

RS4/ Koncept 6.6/ Sonntag38

Went to Kurnell to meet Remi but I got too scared, so did a few runs at the river, which was pretty bad but easier.

FMAX Racing 98 - Loftsails 6.3 - 33 fin

Top morning, need more of these with more comrades.

Great to see that many locations work in that wind idfrection as most went to a different location.

Ahhh that felt GOOD !

I haven't been on a board for about 6 weeks, a slalom board for about 10 and to Primbee in like forever!

Good to get back on the water with a bunch of regulars, and many more I missed. I'll dig up some photos of the gopro later.

Note to self, stop wearing the gopro... I jumped onto the board for 'just one more run' and as the fin dug into the weedbed, my neck and head jerked uncomfortably and something went twang. Still feels tense down the right back of my neck. Yell

ISonic 80L needed footstraps moved mid-session, felt much better with front footstrap in the second from back holes, rather than mixed positioning!

TRXI 6.3m felt great and controlled, manageable in the gusts, but maybe a 7.0 would have been faster... maybe?

Spweedie 27 was a good match for the board, almost enough lift to sail upwind, and thanks to the full tide (even low tide was higher than other high tides I've had at Primbee), the fin barely bottomed out.

Ahh gonna need to put the booties on soon.
