Great session NNW 20-25knots. Using the Falcon 79 (FF79), I moved the rear footstraps forward so they were one hole from the rear and this solved the spin out issues I was having. So today I could load up the fin with confidence and see what it could do. Speeds were very similar to what I would expect from the IS87. I was not entirely comfortable with the mast foot positioning biased towards the front, I will try more positions next time when it gets warmer and my hands aren't numb, but I think with some tuning I will be able to get the FF79 going faster than IS87. It is easier to tip into a gybe at high speed than the IS87....does not show in the Alpha as gybes were too wide (after a broad run).
