that was fun... first proper sail in months. Had to have a bit of a rest after getting the wetsuit on, but eventually found some energy.
Some big gusts. Wind was steadier than usual for a frontal SW and the tide wasn't stupidly high so there were some relatively flat patches of water. Had a few moments of terror when entering the chop minefield at full tilt- exhausting. Most of the best runs were heading in, but I did get a 40.7 on the dial on the way out... and almost crashed in the mogul minefield at full tilt with a huge gust belting me from behind. Glad sails twist a bit!
M112, 6.3m KAR, Tribal Sym speed 33. Combo felt great- liking this upright fin more and more. Stoked with the speeds it pumped out today given the conditions. Nice to get another 40kt 10s at the local. They don't come often.
Enjoyed watching Greg's fastest run today... looked like he was going to explode so good on him for having a set and hanging on hard!
